“THE AMERICAN DREAM”

Sandra Morales was born in El Salvador and is incredibly proud of her Latin American roots. Sandra is one of eight brothers and sisters. She arrived in the United States in 2004. She had to learn a new language and a new way of life. Sandra is an active member of her church, and loves going to the movies with family and friends.

A VISION BECOMES REALITY:

It was not enough to have a vision for her business. Sandra had to quickly develop a system. She had to create a “science of cleaning “ if she was going to capitalize on this opportunity. She recruited one girlfriend and then another one to work with her. Within a year she formed her first four person cleaning team. She assigned each person a specific task using company assigned equipment and supplies. The team flowed through a house with efficient precision that modeled W. Edwards Deming’s Principals of Management. Sandra developed a “McDonald’s type“ set menu of service. With a lot of hard work and determination, Sandra fine-tuned her concept into what became Morales Cleaning Services.

Sandra states that the greatest satisfaction that she has reaped from her business experience is the knowledge that she is helping women obtain jobs. She has encouraged them to continue their education, to earn self-respect by treating people the way themselves would want to be treated. “Take responsibility and pride in your work and in doing so become independent.
